EXPERIENCED RVT/TECHNICIAN LICENSED ONLY
Candidates for this position MUST have prior experience in a veterinary setting, and be fluent with surgery and dental cleanings with EXTRACTIONS. Additional skills to include blood draws, catheter placement, radiographs, medical bathing, and other duties within that department role. As a point of contact for our hospital, you should be well spoken, have the ability to multi-task and be able to respond quickly to rapidly changing dynamics. You should demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality. You should possess an excellent work ethic and exceed our expectations in providing care and attention to both our clients and patients. Most importantly, you should like people and customer service.

Knowledge of cornerstone used in paper-lite capacity is a plus. This is a full time position, averaging 40 hours per week, (4)10 hour shifts. We are currently open Monday-Friday and closed on the weekends. Technicians are scheduled 8am to 7pm during the weekdays with weekends off. Technicians are scheduled once a month for weekend treatments, should we have an occasional hospitalized patient.

FLOAT Customer Service/Veterinary Assistant
Reagor Pet Hospital is seeking a “Float” Customer Service Representative/Veterinary Assistant for our busy full-service animal hospital. The right candidate will have excellent skills in client communication and customer service. Only an extraordinary pleasant representative will be considered.
Also, have experience restraining cats and dogs for various procedures, including vaccines, toe nail trims, ear cleanings, etc. Being able to administer vaccines, medications, draw blood and clip toe nails that is a major PLUS.
MUST PROVIDE VERIFABLE REFERENCES
The right candidate will have experience in:
- Handling busy phones and determining what requires immediate care.
- Gather and input client and patient information into electronic medical records software system.
- Manage the daily appointment schedule
- Processing payment transactions (i.e credit cards, check or cash).
- Check in and discharging patients
- Taking prescription refill requests
- Strong communication skills
- Multi-tasking and stress-management abilities are key
- Preferred experience with Cornerstone software
- Maintaining a clean reception and lobby area.
- Proper restraint of dogs and cats
- Knowledge of animal medications and proper usage of over the counter products
- Knowledge of flea and heartworm prevention
- A big heart and a love for animals
