The most important part of your pet’s visit and health care lies with a comprehensive physical examination. A physical exam is more than listening to a heartbeat and taking their temperature. Most commonly, information gathered with a medical history and findings on a physical exam are the pillars for any additional tests or treatments for our patients’ conditions. Of course diagnostics may be necessary to gain valuable information and a plan for your pets’ treatment will be discussed by one of our staff. Prevention is the key to a long, healthy life and diagnosing and treating diseases when they are caught early can be vital for our patients’ well-being. We advise annual, or biannual, examinations with the veterinarian depending upon your pet’s age and health conditions.
