Makenna has lived in Sacramento her whole life. She is currently attending American River College for her general education. She then plans to attend UC Davis for veterinary school and dreams to be an exotic/zoo veterinarian. Makenna has recently gotten married and she and her husband (Jordan) have about 20 animals including a dog, cats and reptiles. Makenna’s husband also plans to go to vet school and they hope to one day open a reptile rehabilitation center.
Makenna and Jordan would love to move to either Oregon or Colorado after vet school.
Makenna also has experience with horses and hopes to use her skills to open a training/rehab facility one day.
Makenna’s hobbies include sewing bags, quilting, crafting, spending time with her friends, and traveling. Makenna has traveled to Texas, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Hawaii, Washington, Mexico, Jamaica, the Cayman Islands and Canada. Her main travel goal is Europe. Makenna’s passion lies with the scaly pets, but she also has a love for her furry friends. Her favorite breeds include Golden Retrievers, Bermese Mountain Dogs, and Pitbulls.
